I wish to inform the community about an outstanding policeman based at the Lenasia South SAPS. Constable Mvuyisa Ndudane has proved to be an outstanding officer, and one that my family and I hope that other policemen aspire to be. About two months ago,my maternal uncle, who is an extremely sick man, drove towards the area in which your police station is situated.

I wish to inform the community about an outstanding policeman based at the Lenasia South SAPS. Constable Mvuyisa Ndudane has proved to be an outstanding officer, and one that my family and I hope that other policemen aspire to be. About two months ago,my maternal uncle, who is an extremely sick man, drove towards the area in which your police station is situated.

When his car stopped working and due to his illness he decided to leave his car and hand the keys to a man who works at a petrol station in the area. During this time, Ndudane and another police officer approached him to see if he required any help. Ndudane took him home which is in the south of Johannesburg. On arrival, Ndudane told my grandparents that they would need to fetch the car. Unfortunately, Ndudane was unaware that my uncle would not be able to tell us the whereabouts of the car. A month passed when Ndudane, finding it strange that no one had come to fetch the car, came to my grandparent’s house to ask the reason why they had not come to fetch it. When they explained the story to him, Ndudane took it upon himself to take them to the location of the car. When we found the car, we found that all the valuables were left as they were - nothing was missing.

We would like to take this opportunity to commend your station in having such a great police officer, who is a kind and good person. We would further like to commend Ndudane, wish him all the best and to let him know that he has completely restored our faith in the police officers of this country and hope that he will be able to show others what it means to serve our people.
