CGN GOLF TEAM CHALLENGE

The country’s premier Golf Team Challenge will take place in Durban this year. Corporate Golf Network will host their 4th Annual Team Challenge over 3 days from 20 to 22nd March 2010. CGN have decided to rename the event as the CGN CHARITY TEAM CHALLENGE.

The country’s premier Golf Team Challenge will take place in Durban this year. Corporate Golf Network will host their 4th Annual Team Challenge over 3 days from 20 to 22nd March 2010. CGN have decided to rename the event as the CGN CHARITY TEAM CHALLENGE.

Each year two charity organizations will be nominated as beneficiaries of the event. This year’s beneficiaries are “Kids for Life”, a Lenasia based organization which provides a feeding scheme at schools in the Lenasia area and Zenzo Kungemazi Community School which serves the disadvantaged community in Joubert Park, Johannesburg. The tournament kicks off on Saturday 20 March at the Durban GC (Papwa Sewgolum); on Sunday at Beachwood CC; and the final on Monday at Durban CC.

Teams will comprise of 4 players and the format is a Better-Ball, for the first two days and IPS on the final day. Costs for the event is R5 500 per team which includes: green fees, halfway meals, a gift bag, golf shirt, team photograph, family braai with entertainment provided by ABBEY ROAD (formerly Johnny Soon & The Magnets) on Saturday and presentation lunch on Monday. There are fantastic prizes up for grabs. Entries for this prestigious event is limited to 30 teams on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.
